Ultimus, an unraced son of Commando (by Domino) out of the Domino mare Running Stream. Despite the inbreeding, Ultimus became a very successful sire.

Standing 15.3 and weighing 1240 pounds, Ultimus was an impressive looking individual who looked more like a Quarter Horse than a Thoroughbred. Died at Beaumont Farm on August 17, 1921 from colic.
